Source Himalaya magnesium chloride

Himalaya magnesium chloride from the most 100% pure and natural source in the world

Himalaya magnesium chloride is a unique by wind and sun dried magnesium chloride. It is free from harmful substances, very pure and natural. This makes it softer and more pleasant for the skin.

Magnesium chloride from the Himalayas comes from very great depth. During the creation of the Himalayas, primeval seas were enclosed and evaporated, leaving behind the magnesium salt.

Himalayan magnesium is millions of years old and dates from a time when humans had no negative influence on nature. Subterranean rivers that find their way through the Himalayas dissolve this magnesium salt. It slowly seeps up through the porous rock under pressure and forms the springs on the high mountains.

The porous rock is a natural filter that removes any contamination (sand, rock, etc.).

Our source existed already millions of years ago.

The most pure and natural magnesium chloride in the world.

The sun, which shines at least 8 hours a day in Tibet and is very intense due to the high altitude, has a very positive influence on the drying and evaporation process and therefore partly determines the high quality plus the special properties of this magnesium.

The density of the brine (magnesium oil) is higher than 1,30 kg/l (31%).

Himalaya magnesium chloride Saltwells on a height of 4 km

Himalaya magnesium chloride salts are extracted from the small lakes and saltwells (salt springs) by families who have been doing this from father to son for generations. The magnesium salt lakes are virtually cut off from the outside world, there is no industry and hardly any agriculture, the soil is not polluted and the air at this altitude is the cleanest in the world.

The population density is 2 people per square kilometer. With great care, the magnesium salts, which come from great depths from the Himalayas, are extracted manually. This extraction process is ancient and comparable to the extraction of sun-dried Celtic sea salts. This method of extraction is many times more environmentally friendly and ecological than the so-called industrial mining (pumping magnesium out of the ground), which often causes major problems in the soil (subsidence).

Why the sun is an important factor for the high quality

The sun, which shines at least 8 hours a day in Tibet and is very intense due to the high altitude, has a very positive influence on the drying and evaporation process and therefore partly determines the high quality plus the special properties of Himalaya magnesium chloride.

During the drying process, the magnesium salt is also exposed to sunlight for weeks, so that the magnesium salt regains its unique properties as it was created. The Tibetans therefore call it "Living Magnesium Salt".

Magnesium benefits

Magnesium is a 'power mineral', also known for the 'inner peace' that it brings. There is no other substance than magnesium that makes humans resistant to stress, calming the nervous system, while at the same time providing and maintaining a constant boost of energy.

Magnesium and metabolism

Every activity in the human body, such as temperature regulation to cell formation, depends on the chemical reaction of enzymes, which consequently, in turn is highly depended on the availibity of magnesium in the body.

Magnesium and energy generation

The more magnesium is available in cells of the human body, the better the functioning of the cells inner power structure known as the mitochondria, which produces energy in the form of ATP, found in human body cells.

Magnesium in our bones and teeth

The need for magnesium is just as important as the need is for calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D3 for heathy teeth and bones. Because of magnesium, bones become truly flexible and stable.

Magnesium and
realxation

While being co-dependent minerals for strong bones and teeth, magnesium and calcalium are also opposing players in terms of their effects on muscles. While calcium causes a contraction in muscle fibres, magnesium has the effect of relaxing the musculature.
